Diet plans that require you to have a PhD before starting them are plentiful. Three: The Exercise Devices You See On Infomercials
I don't know who thinks up all those devices you see on late night infomercials, but my favorite is the one where you peddle like crazy for two minutes so you can end up looking like one of those models with perfect buns or abs of steel. The only problem is that normal folks just can't do them. I'll bet you more than 90% of these things have never been used. They are all based on a lie — that one exercise is going to target a particular part of your body. It's just not true. The only people who are succeeding with these products are the ones selling them.
Four: The Dangerous "Magic Pills", Drugs Or "Potions".
Look, we would all like to swallow a pill that won't let the fat be absorbed by our body, that burns off pounds of fat while we sleep, and that lets us eat all the pizza, donuts, ice cream and cake we want and still lose weight. And if there actually was such a thing, I promise you it would be prescription only, a big drug company would own it, and you'd get it from doctors. Listen, everyone knows too much sugar is converted directly into body fat. Sugar also triggers insulin production that causes weight loss to come to a complete stop. When you drink a can of cola, it has 8-10 teaspoons of sugar, just 2 more than the 8 teaspoons of sugar in the can of the weight loss shake. Most of the "weight loss and energy bars" are also loaded with sugar, or high in carbohydrates, or full of other "junk" and "toxic fats" that make them barely better than eating a candy bar.
